Meningitis ACWY & B Brochure
The Meningitis ACWY and B Brochure can help you educate parents and teens about meningococcal disease and the risks of meningitis B especially. Many parents are not aware that their children may not be vaccinated against meningitis B because a meningitis B vaccine was not available until late 2014. The brochure explains how young people aged 16 to 23 years are at increased risk of meningitis B and that there are actually two different types of vaccines—MenACWY and MenB—that teens should receive to be protected against meningitis. Sharing this brochure with patients can lead to conversation about meningitis and may help you increase vaccination rates in your community.
